Luckiest Girl Alive

Luckiest Girl Alive was an experience in creating graphics for a sleek world that reveals within the story, the truth the main character was trying to keep hidden deep within herself. The most fun I had on this film was helping to bring to screen a magazine office that was meant to emulate “Cosmopolitan” magazine; an office with colour and reflection. In contrast to the New York Times office we move to later in the story which is more refined and to the point.  The New York Times piece was in integral piece of Ani’s story, and was seen through its iterations of the “editors” layout and then “print” layout.

The film flips back and forth from a private school in the late 90’s to the mid-00’s in upper class New York.. so we were tasked with creating 2 time periods. Late 90’s with some grunge thrown in to the otherwise manicured prep school and New York mid-aughts in upscale offices, apartments and Nantucket wealth.
